What We Do

The owners, Laurence and Renaud Biscarrat, bring an international experience and profiles seldom found in brokerages. Both French with Master’s Degrees of Engineering, they’ve lived 11 years in Tokyo and Hong Kong. One was a Managing Director of JPMorgan in derivatives, the other sold industrial software to the oil & gas industry.

Learning agility, cultural adaptability and technological expertise are central to our vision of a progressive company able to take its agents wherever this fast changing industry and the consumers will go.

Agent development is articulated around 3 main components:

  • RE/MAX Synergy Agent Development Program (ADP): agent-specific, consulting-based
  • RE/MAX Synergy Professional Development (ProDev) classes: on-going, on-site, broadcast to other offices conference rooms, possibility for agents to attend remotely.
  • RE/MAX University: Video-On-Demand

Buffini Peak Producer program: Laurence is a certified instructor. The program can be taken in-house.

Intended for seasoned agents looking to achieve more than ever as well as for agents completely new to the business building their business from the ground up, RE/MAX Synergy ADP helps you unlock your potential and create irreplaceable value for your clients.

To effectively enhance your business, we consult one-on-one with agents. Based on how you want to run your business, we help you developing an enhanced business plan before directing you to attend only those courses that are relevant to your plan.

The RE/MAX Synergy ADP includes 22 courses, organized in a Sales Series, a Techniques Series and an Advanced Business Management Series, plus an introductory Digital Marketing and Tools course.

The Sales Series 10 courses will teach you what it takes mentally and behaviorally to build a successful real estate business, and specific methods for both lead generation and lead conversion.

The Techniques Series 8 courses focus on processes and techniques an agent must master to go through a transaction. These knowledge-based courses cover all the aspects of buying and selling process in the Chicagoland market.

The Advanced Business Management Series 4 courses provide sophisticated systems for Business Planning, Activities Management, finding/attracting/hiring assistants, Team Organizational Models.

Renaud Biscarrat is the Designated Managing Broker.

Three other licensed Managing Brokers are involved full time in the day-to-day operation of each branch: John Schaefer, Larry Yakutis, and Laurence Biscarrat.

All agents, whether onsite or offsite, may escalate issues to, or seek assistance from, any of them.

John Schaefer and Larry Yakutis are based in Orland Park.

John Sackett is the company’s expert in NAR arbitration and ethical hearing process.

Laurence Biscarrat is in charge of Agent Development Program (ADP), Human Resources, Corporate Communication, advertising and vendor management.

Renaud Biscarrat supervises all operations: bookkeeping, finance, and system infrastructure.

Laurence and Renaud jointly supervise all technology: software and hardware, technology for agents and for staff/operations, research and proprietary development.

Pat Echlin is the Managing Broker for the Indiana license.

From our facility in Orland Park, we support our agents’ business all over Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.

We own this highly visible building in a high traffic area, having therefore full control over our ongoing investment in the facility. Not depending on a landlord gives us maximum agility to adapt our use of the facility to changing technology and work habits.

As remote work is becoming always more prevalent, our focus is to ensure that our facility provides the sense of community that people working offsite miss and visit the office for.

  • 5 state of the art conference rooms with 52″ display and video conferencing can be used to meet clients or colleagues.
  • An agent lounge (“Le Café”) offers a more relaxed setting.
  • Two workrooms provide a total of 10 workstations with the most recent operating system and software.
  • Ultra high-speed USD outlets throughout the building allow for cell or tablet charging.
  • 6 Konica Minolta heavy duty color copiers address all printing and scanning needs.
  • A Cat6 gigabit wired network, in addition to Wifi, provides speed and reliability.

When joining RE/MAX Synergy, you and your clients gain access to our facility 24/7, 365 days per year. Our office is staffed from 9AM to 8PM, Saturday 9AM to 4PM and Sunday 10AM to 3PM. The showing appointment desk runs 24/7, 365 days per year.

Nobody sells more real estate than RE/MAX: RE/MAX has the most transaction sides in the nation as well as in Chicagoland. RE/MAX agents are also the most productive individually.

Within RE/MAX, RE/MAX Synergy has the most productive agents in Chicagoland, when measured by the number of sides per sales associates.
